Terror victims from town of Elad near Tel Aviv were "settlers" says PA, using this to justify their deaths
Headline: “Those who carried out the attack in Elad in the Tel Aviv [area] were arrested, the [PA-funded] Prisoners’ Club holds the occupation fully responsible for their fate”
“The Israeli authorities announced yesterday [May 8, 2022] that those who carried out the attack in Elad in the Tel Aviv [area] (i.e., terror attack, 3 people murdered) were arrested after three days of pursuit next to Ras Al-Ein in the 1948 territories (i.e., Israel).
The occupation authorities claimed that young As’ad Yusuf As’ad Al-Rifai and Subhi Imad Sbeihat [Abu Shuqeir] from the town of Rumana west of Jenin carried out a stabbing operation in Elad on Thursday [May 5, 2022], in which 3 settlers were killed and other settlers were wounded.
The [PA-funded] Prisoners’ Club held the occupation authorities fully responsible for the fate of prisoners As’ad Al-Rifai and Subhi Sbeihat, after the occupation announced that they were arrested in the territories that were occupied in 1948.
The Prisoners’ Club explained in a short announcement that there is great concern that they will be tortured and will undergo abuse in the interrogation centers.”
As'ad Al-Rifai and Subhi Abu Shuqeir - Palestinian terrorists aged 19 and 20 respectively who used axes and knives to murder 3 Israeli civilians - Oren Ben Yiftah, Yonatan Habakuk, and Boaz Gol - at a park in Elad east of Tel Aviv on Israeli Independence Day, May 5, 2022. Al-Rifai and Shuqeir worked in the town without work permits and therefore knew the area well. The two escaped after the attack and were arrested on May 8, 2022.
