PA unfairly accuses Israel of committing "incessant crimes of summary execution" against Palestinians

Headline: “The [PA] Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns the crimes of summary execution and demands that the ICC immediately launch an investigation”

“The [PA] Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the crimes of summary execution that the occupation forces and armed settler militias are premeditatedly committing one after the other against Palestinian civilians.

In a statement yesterday evening, Sunday [May 8, 2022], the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that these crimes constitute the implementation on the ground of instructions from the political echelon in the occupation state led by extremist [Israeli Prime Minister] Naftali Bennett, who has said on a number of occasions that his forces are doing their work without limitations and rules (sic., apparently refers to him saying security forces have a “free hand” to stop violent Arab riots). It added that this clearly expresses the racist and criminal colonialist mentality that rules the decision-making centers in the occupation state, which allows itself to steal the Palestinian civilian’s life and not just the land of his homeland.

The ministry held the Israeli government led by extremist Naftali Bennett fully and directly responsible for the incessant crimes of summary execution, and for their dangerous results in the arena of the conflict.

It emphasized that the crimes of execution that took place today (sic., yesterday, refers to terrorist Mu’tasim Atallah who was shot during his attack, and Mahmoud Arram who was shot infiltrating Israeli security fence) are additional proof of the policy of the occupation, which is escalating the conflict to achieve purely colonialist goals and push any political solution of the conflict to the margins.

The ministry expressed its shock at the silence of the international community, the American government, and the ICC (International Criminal Court) over these crimes, which reach the point of war crimes and crimes against humanity.”

Mu’tasim Atallah – 17-year-old Palestinian terrorist and Hamas member who infiltrated the Israeli town of Tekoa south of Jerusalem and attempted to stab an Israeli civilian on May 8, 2022. The civilian shot and killed Atallah in self-defense.
