“During the [PA] government’s weekly meeting that was held yesterday, Monday [June 1, 2020], in Ramallah… the government heard a report from the [PA] Ministry of Finance regarding the establishment of a bank or financial institution that will manage the public’s money, and a recommendation on the matter will be raised to [PA] President [Mahmoud Abbas] for approval…

The government decided as follows:

1. To establish a governmental bank that will provide monetary services to all the sectors and small loans for individuals and companies.
2. To approve the funding of a number of non-profit companies.”
