“Again a fierce attack is returning to the fore against the Law to Protect the Family [From Violence], which is considered one of the tools to protect the society in general and women in particular from violence, coercion, primitiveness, ignorance, and cheap exploitation…

The forces of darkness and Takfir (i.e., the act of accusing other Muslims of heresy), ignoramuses, and illiterates… have attempted to distort the law and have turned the facts upside down… in order to perpetuate crime, ugly exploitation, and the harming of the dignity of the women and their status.”
