Women's rights activists are being "attacked" and "terrorized" by Palestinians

“The Palestinian People’s Party (i.e., a Communist party in the PLO) expressed its condemnation of the attack to which a number of female human rights activists and women’s [rights] activists who are demanding to ratify the Law to Protect the Family From Violence are being subjected to, and its fierce opposition to all the attempts to terrorize any male or female citizen and accuse them of heresy just because they are expressing their opinion.

In a press release today, Thursday [June 11, 2020], a copy of which reached [the independent Palestinian news agency] Donia Al-Watan, the party said: ‘We firmly oppose the threats and slander that are occurring periodically under various excuses and slogans against those who are demanding their rights, or against those who are demanding to ratify laws to protect the rights of the people, family, and society in Palestine, up until the point that this has become a tangible phenomenon that constitutes ideological and social terror.’”
