Israel is "a state that exports only violence and aggression" according to PA Daily
Excerpt of an editorial by the official PA daily
Headline: “The question of fate…”
“The identity of [the person behind] the shocking explosion that spilled Beirut’s blood and our blood (refers to explosion of improperly stored ammonium nitrate in Beirut’s port on Aug. 4, 2020 – over 170 dead and over 6,000 wounded –Ed.) will almost certainly remain shrouded in fog, and it may be that after long investigations, this explosion will be credited to an anonymous person! But why is it that every time that an incident of this kind occurs, the fingers of condemnation – and not just the accusatory fingers – are pointed directly at Israel, even when it denies its connection to it?? This is a question that all the Israelis need to answer, so that perhaps they will see and understand what has happened to the reputation of their state as a state that exports only violence and aggression…
As long as Israel continues to run from peace and conspire against it, it will remain the most dangerous cause of the explosion in the region…
It can be simply said that this Israeli reality contributed in one way or another to the storage of the ammonium nitrate in the Beirut Port, if we recognize that it was stored there for the purpose of [the Arab-Israeli] conflict (sic., the material was apparently purchased by a company in Mozambique for mining purposes but was never delivered –Ed.).
This of course does not negate the crime of the storage, even if the ammonium nitrate was supposed to be used for agricultural needs, but it is a matter for the brothers in Lebanon to deal with this topic as they wish.”
