Terrorist prisoner Ahmad Sa’adat: Resistance (i.e., violence) is the way to release prisoners and achieve Palestinian aims
Headline: "Sa'adat: I will continue the [hunger] strike until all the prisoners' demands are fulfilled"
"[Secretary General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Ahmad] Sa'adat, sent a letter of congratulations to the prisoners released in the exchange deal, in which he wrote: 'I congratulate our people on the signing and conclusion of the prisoner exchange deal, which is the fruit of its resistance and resolve. I congratulate all the prisoners who have been released and were included in the deal, and wish them a happy life amongst their families. I appreciate the efforts made by the resistance factions towards the completion of this deal.' Sa'adat added: 'This achievement proves that the road to releasing prisoners, like [the road] to achieving the rest of our people's aims, is resistance, which throughout the history of the contemporary revolution has been the main factor in every achievement.'"
Note: Ahmad Sa’adat is serving a 30-year sentence for heading the PFLP terror organization. A song at a PFLP event also praised him for planning the assassination of Israeli Minister of Tourism Rehavam Ze'evi in 2001, but he has not been tried for this crime.
