Palestinian obligation to remember terrorist murderers and their “true stories of heroism” says Fatah official in Gaza

Fatah Commissioner of the Prisoners, Martyrs, and Wounded in the Gaza Strip Tayseer Al-Bardini: “Behind every [prisoner] is a story, an interesting story, a story of pain and sacrifice, a true story of heroism. We tell these stories to the Palestinian public so they will know their true heroes. It is inappropriate and I cannot understand how some of the Palestinian public does not remember Thaer Hammad (i.e., terrorist, murdered 10), for example. I cannot understand or forgive someone who does not remember Diya Al-Agha (i.e., terrorist, murdered 1) after 30 years, and I also cannot forgive someone who does not remember Karim Younes (i.e., terrorist, murdered 1 together with an accomplice) or Fuad Al-Shubaki (i.e., senior PA official and weapons smuggler).”

Thaer Hammad – Palestinian terrorist who murdered 3 Israeli civilians and 7 soldiers by shooting them with a sniper rifle from a hilltop in Wadi Al-Haramiya between Ramallah and Nablus on March 3, 2002. Hammad is serving 11 life sentences.

Diya Zakariya Shaker Al-Agha "Al-Faluji" - Palestinian terrorist who beat Israeli citizen Amatzia Ben Haim to death with a shovel in Ganei Tal in the Gaza Strip on Oct. 11, 1992. Al-Agha is serving a life sentence.

Karim Younes - Israeli Arab terrorist who kidnapped and murdered Israeli soldier Avraham Bromberg in 1980 together with his cousin Maher Younes. Younes was originally sentenced to life in prison, but Israeli President Shimon Peres reduced his sentence in 2012. Younes is serving a 40-year sentence. In May 2017 Younes was appointed by PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas to the Fatah Central Committee.

Fuad Al-Shubaki - Palestinian terrorist and senior PA official who was behind the attempt to smuggle 50 tons of illegal weapons to the Palestinian Authority aboard the Karine A weapons’ ship in 2002. Al-Shubaki is serving a 20-year prison term.
