Arab Organization for Human Rights Secretary-General Alaa Al-Shalabi: “For the past 25 or 26 years, excavations are being conducted whose goal is to harm prayer at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, especially the southern wall, and their goal is that perhaps it will collapse at some point or something like that. However, the excavations also have an aspect of planting history, falsifying history, an attempt to plant things that show there is a basis for- I don’t know what, all of this is something strange that all the archaeological experts deny (sic., an abundance of archaeological evidence proves Jewish history in Jerusalem).”
