Fatah official proclaims that "it is the people’s will to use all forms of resistance" against Israel

Posted text: “The speech of [Fatah] Central Committee member brother Abbas Zaki, at the reception of [released] prisoner Yasser Hafez Rahal (PMW was unable to determine the nature of his crimes -Ed.) in Silat Al-Dhar south of Jenin.”

Fatah Central Committee member Abbas Zaki: “I say to the Israelis: O Israelis, if you are thinking to invade Jenin to assassinate the pure people of honor, you will discover that the entire Palestinian people is standing against you, because they are implementing the decisions of the [Palestinian] National Council (i.e., the legislative body of the PLO). The latest of them, on Feb. 7 [2022], decided to revoke the recognition of Israel and to put an end to all forms of coordination. It is also the people’s will to use all forms of resistance (i.e., term used by Palestinians, which also refers to the use of violence and terror).”

Abbas Zaki also holds the position as Fatah Commissioner for Arab and China Relations

The terms “all means,” “all means of resistance,” “all forms,” are ‎used by PA leaders to include using all types of violence, including deadly terror ‎against Israeli civilians such as stabbings and shootings, as well as throwing rocks and Molotov Cocktails.
