Israel-Sudan peace agreement is a "scandal" and "new mess of disgrace" according to PA Daily

Excerpt of an op-ed by Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul, regular columnist for the official PA daily

Headline: “The people of the [three] no’s will defeat the normalization”

“The heroic Sudanese people, which hosted the Arab Summit in which the three no’s were accepted [in the Khartoum Resolutions] – No to peace [with Israel], No to recognition [of Israel], and No to negotiations [with Israel] – immediately after the June 1967 defeat (i.e., the Six Day War), cannot agree to defeat and the humiliating crime of normalization (refers to normalization agreement between the interim Sudanese government and Israel on Oct. 23, 2020 –Ed.)…

Before the publication about the scandal of Sudan’s entry into the new mess of disgrace, it burned the Israeli flag, and on Oct. 21 [2020], its leaders announced… their opposition to any connection with the Israeli colonialist state. They rejected connecting the removal of Sudan’s name from the terror list to going down into the barren desert of defeat, which is being led by midget leaders for a meager payment: their sitting on the seat of power.”
