PA daily columnist: Terrorist prisoners released in Shalit deal are “heroic” and were welcomed home with “great pomp”
Columnist for official PA daily Yahya Rabah:
"Perhaps today, Friday, will be the last day that we welcome – with great pomp and splendor, and in an official manner – the heroic men and women who were released from the Israeli prisons, and are returning to freedom amongst their families and their people, or to the new places of their forced exile, inside the homeland our outside of it…
Every wedding, no matter how long its rejoicing and merriment go on for, comes to an end, and that is true also of our heroic prisoners in the first part of the deal."
Note: Hundreds of the released prisoners were convicted on charges of murder and terror offenses.
