Hamas Foreign Minister: Palestinian state must be achieved “on every inch of ground”

Al-Zahar [speaking of Palestinian request for statehood recognition at the UN]: "We are in favor of achieving a state, but upon every inch of ground. Without relinquishing a single piece of of land. If their efforts [Abbas’ and the PA’s] lead to [a state within] the '67 borders, then let us cooperate up until that stage. But the '67 borders are not our borders. Our borders are well-known, and moreover, our borders are greater than Palestine."
