Abbas: “A short while ago I met with [former Israeli Prime Minister] Mr. Ehud Olmert, who we have been in contact with recently, in the recent years before the negotiations between us stopped. Regarding these negotiations, I can say that they were promising negotiations but we did not reach a solution. We were very close to a resolution, but we did not reach a solution.”
