PA Mufti of Jerusalem: The Temple Mount “belongs to the Muslims only, no one shares it with them, and it is forbidden for anyone but them to pray on it”

“Approximately 15,000 worshippers held Friday prayers yesterday [Dec. 4, 2020] at the Al-Aqsa Mosque plazas… From the early morning hours the worshippers arrived one after another  from Jerusalem and the Palestinian Interior that was occupied in 1948 (i.e., Palestinian term for Israel), [as well as] a handful of residents from the West Bank who were allowed to enter Jerusalem…

[PA] Mufti of Jerusalem and preacher at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque Sheikh Muhammad Hussein said… that the Al-Aqsa Mosque belongs to the Muslims only, no one shares it with them, and it is forbidden for anyone but them to pray in it.

Sheikh Hussein emphasized that the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque will remain an exclusive site for the loyal servants of Allah who are carrying out Ribat (i.e., religious conflict over land claimed to be Islamic) and defending the essence of their faith.

Muhammad Hussein also serves as Deputy Secretary-General and acting Secretary-General of the PLO Popular National Conference of Jerusalem.
