Abbas “is responsible for Palestinian people worldwide” says PA as Abbas donates medical supplies to Syrian hospital

Official PA TV newsreader: “In Damascus, the PLO Political Department Director-General Ambassador Anwar Abd Al-Hadi gave a grant that the [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas transferred to the Yafa Hospital in Damascus. It included an anesthetic device, an oxygen device, and an X-ray machine.”

Official PA TV reporter: “In order to emphasize President Mahmoud Abbas’ concern for our people, wherever they are, a medical grant was provided to the Yafa Hospital in the Syrian capital of Damascus, at the state’s entry into their second wave of the Coronavirus epidemic (I.e., pandemic).”

PLO Political Department Director-General Anwar Abd Al-Hadi: “The message is clear – the president is responsible for his [Palestinian] people worldwide, and he is taking care of not only the people in the Interior (i.e., “Palestine”) but rather also our people wherever they are, especially at this difficult stage.”

Reporter: “The grant included an anesthetic device and oxygen device that can serve more than 200,000 people, especially at this sensitive time that demands large quantities of oxygen for Coronavirus patients, in addition to an X-ray device that was given to the Bisan Hospital in Homs.”
