The murder of innocent Israeli civilians "was a natural responses by our Palestinian people" according to Ya’abad Mayor

Official PA TV program Palestine This Morning, visit to the demolished house of terrorist Diya Hamarsheh, who murdered 5, in Ya’abad near Jenin

Ya’abad Mayor Amjad Atatra: “In all places in the West Bank there has developed a state of clear response, and the start of the incidents is the operations (i.e., terror attacks) that were carried out in Tel Aviv, and particularly the operation of Martyr Diya Hamarsheh (i.e., terrorist, murdered 5) that was carried out in Bnei Brak, which was a response to the occupation’s violations in the West Bank and against our holy sites, and the attacks it is carrying out against our Palestinian people, against the women, children, and elderly. These were natural responses by our Palestinian people who are being tortured daily at the crossings, roads, and Al-Aqsa Mosque plazas. Therefore, we are not surprised by the occupation that is attempting to divert us from the path that we are following, and it is [the path of] defending our rights and taking back our occupied land.”
