PA TV host blames Israel for the spread of drugs among Arab youth in Jerusalem
PA TV program Palestine This Morning:
PA TV host: "We will be in the city of Jerusalem, the occupied city which stands resolute against the occupation. The spread of the plague of drugs in this city may be the highest of all districts of the homeland, because obviously Israel allows Arab youth in Jerusalem to consume drugs."
Issam Juhan: "Of course, the police struggle [against drugs] in Jerusalem is non-existent. The Israeli occupation isn't interested in the fight against drugs; on the contrary, if civilian society tries to obstruct drug dealers and to stop them, they [the civilians] are detained with the claim that they are taking the law into their own hands. And if civilian society wants to close down a drug den, like the drug dens we've commonly seen in Jerusalem, the occupation comes and re-opens them."
