“Today, Monday [Aug. 15, 2022, PA] President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas congratulated Secretary-General of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Marshal Kim Jong-un for the celebrations of his country’s liberation day.

In a congratulatory telegram, His Honor [Abbas] expressed his desire to work together to strengthen the ties of friendship and mutual appreciation between the two states in a way that will generate mutual benefit. He expressed his appreciation for his Korean colleague’s position regarding our people and its just cause.”
