Palestinian columnist: Israel is a “fascist Holocaust state”

Excerpt of a column by Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul, regular columnist for official PA daily and former advisor to former PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad on national affairs

“Heroic and innocent prisoner Khalil Al-Awawdeh (i.e., member of Islamic Jihad terror organization being held on administrative detention and conducting a hunger strike) will break the criminal Israeli chains, whether the occupation wants it or not. He will defeat the barbaric Zionist executioner with his empty stomach, as his comrades who preceded him in the battle of the empty stomachs triumphed. The Palestinian, Arab, Israeli, and global human rights organizations must support the cause of Al-Awawdeh and all the prisoners who are being held on administrative detention. This is in order to bring about their release and so that colonialist Israel will annul the emergency law that the British Mandate legislated in 1945, which the fascist Holocaust state is still adopting in its war against the members of the Palestinian Arab people.”

Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul is also a former PLO Central Council member.
