Palestinian columnist denies Jewish history in Israel

Headline: “The good news”

“Every Palestinian knows with a certainty that Israel is a legend that is about to suffer a downfall. It was essentially created by the European and American West, when the Western countries experienced national awakening and zealousness. They were required [to answer] an urgent question: What will we do with the Jews who live among us? Will we give them a state like the dozens of nations in Europe that achieved their goals and had independent states of their own established for them? But when the question regarding the fate of the Jews was presented before them, they said: ‘No,’ and looked for a homeland for them that was created from a legend. The legend was the promised land, which they lie [and say] that they were there and were expelled from it, and that they must return to it (sic., an abundance of evidence proves Jewish history in Israel).”
