In his sermon from the Saladin [Al-Ayyubi] pulpit in the Southern Mosque (i.e., the Al-Aqsa Mosque itself), blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque preacher Sheikh Muhammad Sarandah spoke about patience, resolve, and Ribat (i.e., religious conflict over land claimed to be Islamic) at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

He said that the Al-Aqsa Mosque is a deposit entrusted to our nation and that Allah planted the residents of Palestine to carry out Ribat at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.”
