PA Mufti: Abbas’ words in Berlin “represent the Palestinian narrative”

Official PA TV News

Official PA TV newsreader: “The PLO Central Council held an important meeting to discuss various political and national topics, and especially the attack on [PA] President [Mahmoud] Abbas following the press conference in Berlin (refers to a joint press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin on Aug. 16, 2022, in which Abbas claimed Israel “has committed 50 holocausts” instead of apologizing for the murder of 11 Israeli athletes by the Palestinian Black September terror group at the Munich Olympics in 1972, which a journalist asked him to do -Ed.), and supporting the measures being taken by the prisoners in the prisons to obtain their rights.”

PA Grand Mufti Muhammad Hussein: “The agenda of this meeting or the points that can be raised or were raised are on the topic of the Palestinian narrative in general, friends. That is to say, the words of His Honor the President represent the Palestinian narrative that the Israeli authorities are attempting to negate.

Muhammad Hussein also serves as Palestinian Supreme Fatwa Council Chairman and Deputy Secretary-General and acting Secretary-General of the PLO Popular National Conference of Jerusalem.
