Israeli Arabs are an “inseparable part of the Palestinian struggle,” says PA TV
Official PA TV program Reporters in the Field
Official PA TV host: “In the afternoon of Palestine, viewers, prevails great sadness and pain over today’s news about the rearrest of the four prisoners (refers to rearrest of 4 out of 6 terrorist prisoners who escaped Gilboa Prison; see note below -Ed.)… These are the prisoners who took their freedom by force from Gilboa Prison… We will get updated today [Sept. 11, 2021] on the recent developments regarding the six prisoners, and we will monitor the popular activities of support for these prisoners…
Mahmoud, describe for us the scene in Jenin after the arrest of four of the prisoners who extracted their freedom from Gilboa Prison, this great sadness that has prevailed over all of Palestine.”
Official PA TV reporter 1: “Indeed, a state of anger and rage prevails in all of Palestine, and particularly in the Jenin district, since yesterday when the [first] two prisoners were arrested… Rage prevailed in the Jenin district, and processions set out – from Jenin a procession set out to the Jalame checkpoint in the north of the city. A procession also set out in the town of Arraba, and another one in Bir Al-Basha… and the two processions met at Arraba station and expressed great rage over the arrests that took place yesterday and today…
We are currently in the home of prisoner Muhammad Ardah (i.e., terrorist, involved in murder of 3), who was arrested today together with Zakariya Zubeidi (i.e., terrorist, responsible for numerous attacks) by the occupation forces in the occupied Interior (i.e., Palestinian term for Israel). We will speak about this with the prisoner’s uncle Subhi Saleh.”
Subhi Saleh, uncle of terrorist Muhammad Ardah: “May Allah grant him mercy and honor… Allah be praised, we are proud of them, proud of them all… Allah be praised.”
…
Host: “Salam, a scene of sadness in Jenin. And in Nazareth (i.e., Israeli city), [describe for us] the scene from the occupied Interior, and also the recent developments regarding the six prisoners and also regarding the two other prisoners.”
…
Official PA TV reporter 2: “The atmosphere in the Interior is tense and charged after yesterday and the news [about the rearrests] that came this morning…
In the dawn hours… [the Israeli forces] found prisoner Zubeidi and prisoner Ardah in the area of Umm Al-Ghanam and arrested them. According to the Israeli police prisoner Zubeidi attempted to resist arrest, but the Israeli police overcame him and beat him wildly as we saw in the pictures that came from the scene of the arrest. Due to this, four prisoners of the six who extracted their freedom from Gilboa Prison were arrested.”
…
Host: “Salam, please tell us if there will be activities of support today. Will there be demonstrations in the occupied Interior in protest and also as a sign of anger over the rearrest of the four prisoners?”
Reporter 2: “Yes, naturally today the Interior is joining its voice to the voice of the Palestinian public. At precisely 6:00 p.m. a united demonstration will set out from Nazareth to support the prisoners in the occupation prisons, and to condemn all that they are undergoing: Abuse and acts of revenge against them (refers to tightened security measures in the prisons following the prison escape -Ed.). And also to express their rage following the rearrest of the four prisoners. It is also important for the residents of the Interior to raise this cry, and it is important for the residents of the Interior to emphasize that for a long time they are an inseparable part of the Palestinian struggle, and particularly of the Palestinian prisoners’ struggle, and they were the first supporters and the first who offered prisoners for the sake of Palestine and the homeland, and therefore they are setting out today with this message from Nazareth at 6:00 p.m. and joining their voice to the voice of the Palestinian public, naturally.”
