Official PA TV host: “The spirit of nationalism.”
Harun Hashem Al-Rashid: “’Our land, our land, our Jihad is for its sake. Our death as Martyrs is for its sake. Our land, our land, the Carmel (i.e., area in northern Israel) that is dripping with perfume, the banana, the pine, and the blossoming orange.’ I wrote all of this even for children, in order to develop within them the feeling of affiliation. These children grew up and became men. They became fighters. They became self-sacrificing fighters.”
