"The release of this number of prisoners and detainees as part of the conditions included in the captives exchange deal represents a victory for the resistance option, in which our Palestinian people is engaged – the resistance in which the Fatah movement had the honor of firing the first shot in 1965, thereby inaugurating and announcing the outbreak of the modern Palestinian revolution."
