Columnist glorifies Uday Al-Tamimi, says “tens of thousands of children in Palestine will be named” after him

Excerpt of a column by Yahya Rabah, regular columnist for the official PA daily

“The general strike last Thursday [Oct. 20, 2022] took place – as was published – following the death of Uday Al-Tamimi (i.e., terrorist, murdered 1) next to the Shuafat checkpoint in Jerusalem (sic., Al-Tamimi murdered a female soldier at the Shuafat checkpoint, but he escaped and died 11 days later after shooting and wounding a security guard at the entrance to Ma’ale Adumim). Shuafat has become famous for its struggles…

In the first Shuafat battle, the young Palestinians were a group, while the number of dead Israelis was large (PMW was unable to determine the event referred to here -Ed.)…

Regarding the second operation (i.e., terror attack), its hero was young Uday Al-Tamimi. It was a prominent example of a surprise attack, and now the name of Uday Al-Tamimi is engraved in the Palestinian memory. Therefore, the general strike took place – out of love, a salute, and admiration by his people.I swear by Allah Master of the Universe that you, Israeli occupiers, will see from Palestine only examples of extraordinary heroism, which will lead you in the end to defeat.

As for you, Uday Al-Tamimi, you have written your name with the flames of holy fire. From now on we will write your name, and tens of thousands of children in Palestine will be named after you.

Uday Al-Tamimi - 22-year-old Palestinian terrorist who shot and murdered 18-year-old female Israeli soldier Sgt. Noa Lazar and wounded an Israeli security guard at the Shuafat checkpoint in northern Jerusalem on Oct. 8, 2022. Al-Tamimi managed to escape and later shot and wounded an Israeli security guard at the entrance to Ma’ale Adumim east of Jerusalem on Oct. 19, 2022, before other guards at the scene shot and killed him.
