PA assimilates the term “antisemitism”, ignoring bloody history behind the term

Headline: “The [PA] Ministry of Foreign Affairs demands that the international community relate to Ben Gvir and Smotrich as antisemites”

“Today, Thursday [Nov. 10, 2022], the [PA] Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates warned against the dangers anticipated as a result of the election of [Israeli Parliament Members] Itamar Ben Gvir, Bezalel Smotrich, and their supporters, because these two are the most ‘racist, fascist, hate-filled, antisemitic, and hostile towards the Arabs and Palestinians.’

In a statement, a copy of which reached [the independent Palestinian news agency] Donia Al-Watan, the ministry said that the election of these two is ‘an explicit threat’ to the arena of conflict and the chances for establishing a peace that is based on the two-state solution, the resolutions of the international institutions, and the Arab Peace Initiative.”
