Fatah Jenin Branch Secretary Ata Abu Rmeileh: “We [in Fatah] are not arguing with anyone. We are taking action for Allah. We are taking action for our Lord… Our goal is not Fatah, Fatah is a means. Fatah is a means for the liberation of Palestine. Our war is with the Jews.”

Fatah Jenin Branch Secretary Ata Abu Rmeileh said this in response to a statement by a Hamas candidate in the Qalqilya area who, after losing in local PA elections to Fatah, decried Fatah and those who voted for it, calling them “dirty people” and “impure people.”
