Fatah official writes about “the miracle of the Palestinian savior Jesus”

Excerpt of a column by Muwaffaq Matar, Fatah Revolutionary Council member and regular columnist for the official PA daily

Headline: “Karim Younes – ‘The free man has returned, he really has returned!’”

“On this sacred land, the miracle of the Palestinian savior Jesus son of Mary took place (sic., Jesus was a Jew according to Christian tradition)…

Palestinian Karim Younes (i.e., terrorist, murdered 1 together with an accomplice) broke the rules of the enemies of humanity (i.e., Israel), which were especially planned to subjugate and humiliate the Palestinians. After 40 years in the prison cells of the occupation, settlement, terror, racism, and fascism system (Israel) [parentheses in source], he proved that it is impossible to break a free man, even if they shut him in a cell guarded by 1,000 beastly people… Karim was released from the belly of the whale of occupation and captivity.”

Karim Younes - Israeli Arab terrorist who kidnapped and murdered Israeli soldier Avraham Bromberg in 1980 together with his cousin Maher Younes. Younes was originally sentenced to life in prison, but Israeli President Shimon Peres reduced his sentence in 2012. Younes is serving a 40-year sentence. In May 2017 Younes was appointed by PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas to the Fatah Central Committee. Younes was released from prison on Jan. 5, 2023.
