Headline: “Fattouh demands to boycott the Africa-Israel Summit in Togo”

“Fatah Movement Central Committee member and [Fatah] Commissioner of International Relations Rawhi Fattouh demanded that the Republic of Namibia and the free states in Africa boycott the Africa-Israel Summit, which is expected to take place in Togo at the end of October 2017. During his meeting yesterday [Aug. 28, 2017] with the ambassador of Namibia who is not a resident of Palestine, Japhet Isaack, Fattouh said that holding the Africa-Israel Summit contradicts the history and struggles of the peoples of Africa, who resisted persecution and racism. He emphasized that it is important to act quickly in order to thwart the Israeli attempts to normalize relations with the states of Africa.”
