Returning to terror and “changing the rules of engagement” with Israel requires “agreement,” says Fatah official
“Fatah Movement Central Committee Secretary and head of its delegation to the dialogue in Cairo Jibril Rajoub emphasized that… it is important to agree on the political fundamentals and our perception of the struggle, such as establishing the Palestinian state in the 1967 borders and resolving the refugees’ problem according to the international institutions’ decisions. He added that this is the only tool that is likely… to convince the world to accept the [PA] election results and impose a blockade on the Israelis, instead of imposing a blockade on the Palestinian people. He also said that popular resistance is our right and the most appropriate option at this stage, and that changing the rules of engagement with the occupation needs to be done in agreement.”
