Libel on PA TV: Israeli schools teach that “one day everyone will be servants and slaves of the Jews”

Official PA TV program Palestine This Morning, on the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, the program is broadcast as part of the weekly media coverage on Mondays against “the settlement policy”

Official PA TV host: “Daily acts on the ground, violence by the settlers, ongoing attacks by the occupation – these are different forms of discrimination and inequality, which we sometimes saw in the Nazi regime and also in the apartheid regime in South Africa. Now the occupation state is repeating them and implementing them.”

Director of the Human Rights and Democracy Media Center SHAMS Omar Rahal: “The [Jewish] Nation[-State] Law (see note below -Ed.) is racism in and of itself. It is an emphasis of the state’s Jewishness…

The issue goes further than this, and it is connected to Torah aspects, to ideological aspects, [according to which] everyone [else] is goyim (i.e., non-Jews,) Allah chose the Jews, and everyone is slaves of the Jews (sic., Judaism does not teach that non-Jews are the Jews’ slaves). Therefore, they look at us Arabs who are the descendants of the maidservant’s son, in other words, we are the descendants of our lord Ishmael, peace be upon him, [the son] of our lady Hagar…

Look at what the elementary schools and kindergartens are doing in educating their children. How they teach their children that the Arabs are liars and traitors.

Host: They teach them hatred.”

Omar Rahal: Hatred. And that one day everyone will be servants and slaves of the Jews. These are religious aspects, and therefore these aspects are being carried out through a collection of racist laws…

Since the establishment of the occupation state in 1948 and until now the excavations are continuing. Give me- and here I mean the Israeli antiquities, if they have something that testifies that they were in this land (sic., an abundance of archaeological evidence conclusively proves the ancient Jewish connection to Israel). They are excavating underneath the Al-Aqsa Mosque (sic., Israel does not conduct excavations under the Temple Mount), in the Al-Basatin neighborhood, in the Silwan neighborhood, in the ancient neighborhoods of Jerusalem, and near the churches and the Al-Aqsa Mosque so that they might find something that testifies that they were in this land. They are transient and will remain transient. Therefore, they will not continue in this land. There is nothing that testifies that they were ever there

The racism regarding the occupation state is against all the Palestinians, both of 1948 (i.e., Israeli Arabs) and of 1967 (i.e., those living in the PA areas), in Jerusalem, and in the Gaza Strip. They look at us as non-Jews, as second-class citizens.”

Jewish Nation-State Law – law passed by the Israeli Parliament on July 19, 2018, which codifies in Israel's Basic Law that Israel is the home of the Jewish nation with Jerusalem its capital, and the Hebrew calendar its official calendar. It establishes Hebrew as the sole official language and grants Arabic a special status, and it recognizes Jewish and Israeli holidays, memorial days, and the Jewish Sabbath as national holidays and days of rest - while guaranteeing the right of all Israeli citizens and residents to celebrate their holidays and days of rest. The law, which passed with 62 in favor, 55 against, and 2 abstentions, has sparked controversy within Israeli society.

Excavations under the Temple Mount - The Israeli daily Haaretz has stated that the excavations do not reach beneath the mosque: "Despite complaints from the Islamic Movement and Palestinian groups, not a single dig penetrates beneath the [Temple] Mount." [Haaretz, May 24, 2016]
