Surif Mayor Muhammad Adwan: “I want to tell my comrades who are attempting to instigate internal conflicts between the Palestinian people that [former PLO Chairman and PA President] Yasser Arafat is a red line, [Hamas founder] Ahmed Yassin is a red line, all the Martyrs, [Islamic Jihad founder Fathi] Shaqaqi, from the little to the great among them – they are red lines for us. We will not allow contempt for any one of our symbols.”
