Al-Aqsa Mosque preacher Sheikh Muhammad Salim said from the Saladin Al-Ayyubi pulpit in the Southern Mosque (i.e., the Al-Aqsa Mosque itself)… that the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque is still being subjected to a policy of desecration by the occupation and the settler organizations and we are in [a state of] Ribat (i.e., religious conflict over land claimed to be Islamic) and resolve, and any occupation of the Al-Aqsa Mosque is a transient and passing occupation.”
