Prisoners released in Shalit deal receive a presidential award

"Minister of Prisoners' Affairs, Issa Karake, called upon the prisoners released in the second stage of the recent [prisoner] exchange to come to the Ministry's offices, in the districts of their residences, to receive the presidential award to the prisoners."

Note: Hundreds of the released prisoners were convicted on charges of murder and terror offenses.
