Terrorist responsible for murder of 5 is “great,” his mother “a role model”

Official PA TV host: “We are now in front of the home of prisoner Firas Khaliliya (i.e., terrorist, responsible for murder of 5), to whom we send warm greetings through [official] PA TV and the Giants of Endurance program. The sentence is life, but Allah willing the period of the occupier’s existence will be shorter than his sentence…It is no surprise that great people like these are in the prisons, with such persistence and such defiance, as they are the sons of the upright women, the Palestinian mothers, and Firas Khaliliya’s mother is a role model of a Palestinian mother standing firm.”

Firas Khaliliya – Palestinian terrorist and member of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades (Fatah’s military wing) who led the terror cell that murdered 2 Israeli civilians – Sima Franko, 24, and Ya’akov Hatzav, 42 – and wounded 3 others on the Jordan Valley Highway north of Jericho on Sept. 9, 2001, in addition to other shooting attacks. Khaliliya also sent terrorist Mahmoud Khaliliya to stab and seriously wound an Israeli civilian in Kiryat Ata near Haifa on June 21, 2003. Khaliliya was also involved in the murder of 3 Palestinians whom he suspected of cooperating with Israel in late 2002. Khaliliya is serving 6 life sentences and another 50 years.
