The Palestinian mother is “a model of giving” for proudly sending off her son to die as a Martyr

"Laila Ghannam, District Governor of Ramallah and El-Bireh paid a visit yesterday to released prisoners Tamer Shawamreh and Omar Khalil Karakreh [both had been serving time in prison and were released in the framework of the second stage of the Shalit exchange]. Ghannam said: 'The Palestinian mother is a model of giving… She parts from her Shahid (Martyr) son with trills of victory and pride, and marries off her prisoner son with full honor, glory and acclaim.'"
