Head of the Authority for Civilian Affairs in the Gaza Strip Iyad Nasr: “At the end of 2021, the total of [entry] permits [to Israel] given by the authority [for civilian affairs] was approximately 7,000 permits, including permits for laborers and merchants, and a number of permits for humanitarian cases and personal needs. The total number of entry permits [to Israel] was no more than 10,000. Today we are talking about 19,000 permits for laborers, 3,500 permits for merchants, and nearly 500 for businesspeople.”
