Fatah glorifies terrorist by saying “Martyrs” are “medals of honor”

The Fatah Movement – Bethlehem Branch posted a video and text on its Telegram channel

The video shows images of terrorist and PA police officer Izz Al-Din Salahat, who shot at Israeli soldiers, posing with assault rifles, followed by images of his funeral.

Posted text: “May Allah honor you in Paradise

You were always first

Until you merited [Martyrdom] at the satisfaction of Allah

You are our Martyrs – beacons, you are the medals of honor…

May Allah have mercy on you, O Izz Al-Din [Salahat]

And may He have you dwell in Paradise

The Martyr, commander, and fighter who fell in battle

(the following line is written in Hebrew and apparently refers to Israeli Duvdevan special forces -Ed.)

Izz Al-Din Salahat – Palestinian terrorist, PA police officer, and member of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades (Fatah’s military wing) who shot at Israeli soldiers during a gun battle in the Jenin refugee camp on Jan. 26, 2023. The soldiers returned fire, killing Salahat. The soldiers were in Jenin to arrest a senior Islamic Jihad terrorist and prevent an imminent terror attack. Salahat’s father is a colonel in the PA Presidential Guard.
