Youth group in Beit Jala opposes any normalization encounters with Israel, reported in PA daily
Headline: "Youth call to prevent normalization encounter in Beit Jala tomorrow"
"Groups of youths called upon the residents of the Bethlehem district in particular, and their people in general, to take part in preventing a normalization encounter which is expected to take place tomorrow and the next day at the Talitha Kumi school in Beit Jala.
The 'Youth Who Love the Land' group called upon all popular and official bodies to act urgently to prevent the '2nd Beit Jala Hackathon', on a subject known as 'technology information exchange', which will be held with the participation of Israelis and with American patronage. It added, 'The "Youth Who Love the Land" group emphasizes its position opposing any normalization encounters, with all their various titles, and any agenda of external, conditional aid to our people. Therefore it calls upon the Palestinian people to take part in preventing the US-supported normalization encounter which is scheduled to take place tomorrow at the Talitha Kumi school in Beit Jala.'"
