During the central graduation ceremony a picture of Abbas is seen next to pictures of terrorists

The PLO Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs posted pictures and text on its Facebook page

Posted text: “During his participation in the central graduation ceremony of the students at Al-Quds Open University, [Deputy Director of PLO Commission of Prisoners' Affairs Abd Al-Qader] Al-Khatib: ‘We are present among you through the names of our prisoners, their spirit, their cause, and their excellence, in order to emphasize to the world that we love life.’”

The pictures show the Al-Quds Open University graduation ceremony. A large picture of PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas is seen in the stage backdrop, while in the foreground ceremony participants are standing on stage with posters of terrorists Ahmed Abed, who murdered 1 together with an accomplice, and Islamic Jihad terrorist Majdi Ar’arawi, who was killed during 2023 Operation Home and Garden.

Ahmed Abed and Abd Al-Rahman Abed - Palestinian terrorists and members of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades (Fatah's military wing) who shot and killed Israeli army officer Maj. Bar Falah, deputy commander of the Nahal brigade, at Jalame checkpoint near Jenin on Sept. 14, 2022. Other soldiers returned fire, killing the two terrorists. Ahmed Abed was an officer in the PA Security Forces. Fatah officially took responsibility for the attack in a Facebook post that was subsequently removed.

Nour Al-Din Marshoud, Ali Al-Ghoul, and Majdi Ar’arawi – Palestinian teen terrorists aged 16, 17, and 17 respectively who were killed during Israel’s Operation Home and Garden, a counter-terror operation in Jenin that started on July 3, 2023. Marshoud and Ar’arawi were members of the Islamic Jihad terror organization, while Al-Ghoul was a member of Hamas.
