Abbas’ advisor: Palestinians “have been here for more than 6,000 years, [Israeli] foreigners need to go”
PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Mahmoud Al-Habbash: “Since the start of the Zionist idea, they have been dreaming to see Palestine as a land without a people. But they have failed in this for more than 100 years since the Balfour Declaration (see note below -Ed.) and until today. They failed to carry out this foolish wish because the Palestinian people is not a foreign people in its land and its homeland. We have been here for more than 6,000 years (sic., the Palestinians have no history prior to the modern period). The foreigners are the ones who need to go.”
