Hamas’ massacre on Oct. 7 “changed nothing,” “national unity is Shari’ah duty,” says Abbas’ advisor

PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Mahmoud Al-Habbash: “There can be no Palestinian national unity without the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and without all the Palestinian factions… Before Oct. 7 [2023] (i.e., Hamas’ massacre launching its terror war) and after Oct. 7 the Palestinian national unity was and still is a Shari’ah duty and a national need. Nothing has changed.”
