Abbas’ advisor: US and colonialist powers “planted” Israel to keep the Arab region “divided”
PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Mahmoud Al-Habbash: “All of the colonialist axioms that created Israel and planted Israel in the Arab region still exist. These axioms want – and it has been clearly said that they want – the Arab region, the region east and south of the Mediterranean Sea, to remain divided, backward, and conflicted, and to live under the pressures of tension and lack of security, peace, and stability. The US is establishing its entire strategy in the region on this basis for political, economic, military, and colonialist reasons.”
