PA libel: Stripes on Israeli flag express Israeli plan to rule “between the Euphrates and the Nile”

Artas Mayor Lutfi As’ad: “This is the occupation’s (i.e., Israel’s) policy: To deny the Palestinian people its land, its status, and its humanity so that the occupation will remain stretched out not only over Palestine, but also beyond Palestine, according to their Israeli flag, which is between the Euphrates [River] and the Nile [River] (sic.)”

It is a common PA libel that the two blue stripes on the Israeli flag represent Israel’s aspirations of ruling between the Euphrates and Nile Rivers.
