Abbas’ advisor endorses use of terror: “The resistance is legal with all means”

PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Mahmoud Al-Habbash: “International law and the international bodies’ resolutions have given us a full right to resist the occupation (i.e., Israel) with all the capabilities at our disposal. Resisting the occupation, resisting the occupation’s measures, whether politically, legally, or even on the ground and in practice, is something legal... The resistance is legal with all means (i.e., Palestinian term that includes use of terror), with all tools, with all capabilities. No one is arguing about this… In principle, the entire Palestinian people believes – and foremost among it the Palestinian leadership, which is the one that began the Palestinian struggle ever since the launch of the revolution in 1965 – everyone believes that the resistance is a legal right, and even a sacred duty that is laid on the shoulders of all the Palestinian people.”
