Abbas’ advisor: The Jews – “these transient ones will pass”
PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Mahmoud Al-Habbash: “We will remain here. We will triumph in the end, and they [the Jews] are the ones who will go sooner or later. Dozens of waves of colonialism have passed through this holy and blessed land, from the dawn of history until today, and afterwards they went and disappeared and Palestine remained. The land of Palestine remained and the only continuous, lasting, and firm factor remained, which is the existence of the Palestinian people for more than 6,000 years until today. The transient ones have passed and their traces have disappeared, and these transient ones (i.e., the Jews/Israel) will pass and their traces will disappear.”
