Abbas’ advisor: Oct. 7 massacre was “excuse” for Israel to launch plan
PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ Advisor on Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations Mahmoud Al-Habbash: “[The Israelis] used what happened on Oct. 7 [2023] as an excuse to carry out a plan that was planned in advance to destroy the Gaza Strip and expel the people from the Gaza Strip. In the same manner in the West Bank, they are currently carrying out aggression and provocation… The goal is to ignite the situation and blow it up, to use this afterwards as an excuse for carrying out the long-term plan, which is expelling the Palestinians and emptying the Palestinian land of its residents.”
