Rajoub attempting to have Israel removed from FIFA

... “[Chairman of the Palestine Olympic Committee Jibril] Rajoub condemned the occupation’s (i.e., Israel’s) crimes against all that pertains to the sports sector and the fans against the backdrop of absolute silence [by the world], and the existence of sports clubs and sports activities in the colonies in the occupied Palestinian territories. He demanded to suspend the Israel [Football] Association’s activity, ahead of having Israel removed from FIFA. 

Rajoub continued: ‘In our estimation, the crimes that have been committed against the Palestinians and the policy of harassing the sporting activity have revoked any legal or moral right for Israel to participate in the Olympic Games in France.’”
